January is a perfect month to start something new, that’s why New Year resolutions are so popular. I decided January of 2013 was the month I need to change something. I had just had baby number three and knew the scale had a number on it that was something I had never seen before. I wanted so bad to lose the baby weight and feel like myself again. I found a workout program I could do at home, after all dragging three kids one being a new born to the gym wasn’t going to happen. I also started tracking my food. Along with both of those I got plugged into an online Facebook accountability group. I was with other ladies all with weight loss goals of their own, ready to encourage and help me.
*January 2013 almost 50lbs heavier…..November 2014
It was in the middle of my weight loss journey that the program 21 day fix was introduced. I had learned how to eat healthy but I was still struggling with portion control. This program focuses on the food part which is my biggest struggle. I wish I could just workout and eat what I want, but that doesn’t get me the results I want or help me learn how to nourish my body. I’m so excited to be offering this group to kick-off the new year. This is the program we will be using for the New You accountability group.
To participate in my January Group you must:
- Commit to follow the 21-Day Fix program
- Drink Shakeology, once a day for 21 days
- Participate in a private Facebook group reporting your workouts & food.
- Get excited for prizes and fun
- Be willing to be honest, so we can know what’s working, what’s not and get it done.
